Last Sunday daughter Renee came up and we decided to visit Araluen, a park not far from where we live. These are a few of the photos I took there. The waterlilies were gorgeous.

So were these - I momentarily can't remember what they're called!

The bush looked a bit dry but the creek was still running.

There is still time to enter my giveaway - it's drawn on Monday. Details in a previous post.

Hi Linda, the flowers you don't know their name are Hortensia, You can dry them and put the flowers under a screen to screenprint them or you can put them under organza and sew them on a quilt.

I thought they were Hydrangeas but then I am not a gardener so I might easily be wrong and that wouldn't be the first time either.

Me again--I just Googled it and they are the same flower :-}} silly me.
